The Biblical Meaning of Blessing
In Scripture, blessing (Hebrew: berakah; Greek: eulogia) means far more than good wishes or positive thoughts. A biblical blessing is God's empowering presence enabling you to succeed and thrive. When God blesses you, He releases His favor, provision, protection, and power into your life. Blessing is both positional (who you are in Christ) and experiential (what you receive from God).
How God Blesses His People

The Priestly Blessing
God gave Israel a powerful blessing through the priests (Numbers 6:24-26):
"The LORD bless you and keep you; the LORD make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the LORD turn his face toward you and give you peace."
This blessing promises God's protection, favor, grace, attention, and peace. It's still spoken over believers today.
