Question 1 of 4

What is the core message of the Gospel?

The most important decision you'll ever make is what you do with Jesus Christ. Discover who He is, what He accomplished, and how you can have eternal life through Him.

The Gospel: Good News for All People

The Gospel is the most important message in human history. It's not just information—it's transformation. The word "gospel" means "good news," and there's no news better than this: God loves you, Christ died for you, and eternal life is freely offered to you through faith.

The Problem: We Are Sinners

"For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23). Every human being has rebelled against God through sin. We've broken His law, rejected His authority, and chosen our own way. The penalty for sin is death—eternal separation from God in hell (Romans 6:23). We can't save ourselves through good works, religious activity, or moral improvement. We're helpless and hopeless apart from God's intervention.

The Solution: Jesus Christ

God didn't leave us in our sin. In His great love, He sent His Son Jesus Christ—fully God and fully man—to be our Savior. Jesus lived the perfect, sinless life we couldn't live. Then He went to the cross and died the death we deserved, bearing our sins in His body. He was buried, and on the third day, He rose from the dead, proving His victory over sin, death, and Satan. This is the Gospel!

How to Be Saved

Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone. Here's what you must do:

  1. Repent: Turn from your sin and self-rule to God (Acts 3:19)
  2. Believe: Trust that Jesus died for your sins and rose again (Romans 10:9)
  3. Confess: Acknowledge Jesus as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10:9-10)
  4. Receive: Accept God's free gift of eternal life (John 1:12)

What Happens When You're Saved?

  • Forgiveness: All your sins are forgiven—past, present, future (Colossians 2:13-14)
  • New Birth: You become a new creation; the old life is gone (2 Corinthians 5:17)
  • Adoption: You're brought into God's family as His child (Galatians 4:4-7)
  • Holy Spirit: God's Spirit comes to live inside you permanently (Ephesians 1:13-14)
  • Eternal Life: You have secure, unshakable eternal life with God (John 10:28-29)

The Assurance of Salvation:

  • Salvation is permanent—you can never lose it (John 10:28-29)
  • Your assurance is based on Christ's work, not your performance (Ephesians 2:8-9)
  • The Holy Spirit confirms you belong to God (Romans 8:16)
  • Nothing can separate you from God's love (Romans 8:38-39)

Is Jesus the Only Way?

Yes. Jesus said, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me" (John 14:6). There's no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). All other religions are humanity's attempts to reach God. Christianity is God reaching down to save humanity. Jesus isn't one path among many—He is the only Savior.

What's Your Response?

You've heard the Gospel. Now you must respond. Will you repent and believe? Will you surrender your life to Christ as Lord? This is the most important decision you'll ever make. Don't delay—today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).

Ready to Begin Your Journey?

Salvation is God's free gift to you. It's not earned by being good enough—it's received by faith in Jesus Christ alone.
